The best way to have your electrical wiring checked woudl be to either to book in for an EICR, or call us to arrange a call out.
EICR’s are a much more indepth process to check all wiring around the house whereas a callout would focus on that one area that you’re specifically worried about – for example a socket that’s not working.
It is recommended that a house should be rewired every 25 – 30 years therefore if your house wiring has no records of being rewired within this time frame it will be considered too old to be up to standards and safe.
If you are unsure we recommend an EICR to be carried out.
